BELIEVE
Believing in yourself means having faith in your own capabilities. It means believing that you CAN do something — that it is within your ability. When you believe in yourself, you can overcome self-doubt and have the confidence to take action and achieve anything.
ATTITUDE
Having a positive attitude determines not only the success you have in your sport, but the enjoyment that you take from it as well. Positive energy (and positive thinking) is what powers a team and individual players to perform and push forward in pursuit of improvement.
LEARN
Learning keeps your mind engaged and body active. It helps you get new and knowledge-based perspectives on the world around you. It helps you gain new experiences, trains your brain to handle a wide range of challenges, and keeps you developing.
LAUGH
Nothing works faster or more dependably to bring your mind and body back into balance than a good laugh. Taking life too seriously usually leads to worrying, and worrying isn't productive.
Enjoyment motivates hard work, and we never work harder than when we have a smile on our face.
EFFORT
When an athlete performs tasks, spends the time, and makes the sacrifices needed to gain skills this is called - effort. It includes preparing mentally and physically before training or a game. The more you give, the better you become and inspire those around you.
RESPECT
Respect means that you accept somebody for who they are, even when they're different from you or you don't agree with them. A team in which members both trust and respect one another is more likely to work efficiently and work in unison.
